Miracle on Texas St. -Micheal Williams Survives 12-Ton Church Steeple Falling on Top of Car 11- 3

Many times, the word "miracle" is overworked, however, in this Shreveport native Michael Williams believes it. Tuesday, Nov. 3rd, 2009 Williams spoke during his first media interviews, conducted from his hospital bed at LSU Health Sciences Center.

In the seven-minute podcast recorded by Tom Pace from the "Talk of the Town," Williams said he absolutely believed in miracles, adding, "I'm here for a reason."

The 57 year-old graphic artist, and husband of advertising executive Judy Williams survived a 12-ton, 100 foot tall steeple falling onto his new Lexus, from the top of the First United Methodist Church in Shreveport , and then living to tell about it.
